Is your marriage worth saving? It is true, almost every marriage can be reclaimed with hard work, both parties must decide that they want to make it work. Otherwise, one person will be holding everything together while the other one is looking for any way of ending the relationship.
Conveniance is a major cause for people to stay in a relationship or remain in a marriage. But that is not adequate. How to save a relationship starts with a commitment by both parties that the relationship is worth saving.
Secondly, you must address the underlying issue. Remember, your ex may be acting a particular due to an issue that she hasn't brought up.
For example, many people believe an affair is a problem that causes break ups. In truth, the affair is a symptom of a worse problem. For example, a lack of true intimacy can lead to a straying spouse. If you do not deal with the lack of intimacy, you may seem to hold everything together on the surface, but there will be underlying issues that will surface later.
A healthy marriage requires both individuals to be honest, not only with themselves, but with their spouses, too.
